Project summary
Zakat al-Fitr comes at the end of the blessed month of Ramadan as a purification for the fasting person and as a means to meet the poor’s needs before Eid day. This project aims to collect Zakat al-Fitr and distribute it to needy families in the Gaza Strip, enabling them to welcome Eid with dignity and without need or asking. Ataya Association strives, as much as possible, to distribute Zakat al-Fitr in-kind as basic food items, ensuring the zakat reaches its rightful recipients directly and meets their actual needs, while adhering to Shariah rulings and the specified distribution schedule. By participating in this project, you help bring joy to the homes of the poor and needy and assist them in securing the basic needs of Eid, so that the reward of fasting is fulfilled and joy spreads to all.
