Project summary
With the onset of the harsh winter season, thousands of affected families — especially in Gaza — suffer from extreme cold, particularly those who lost their homes and now live in simple tents or damaged houses lacking warmth. Children, women, and the elderly need protection from the cold to preserve their health and dignity. From this painful reality, Ataya Association launched the "Winter Clothing" project to provide essential needs of clothing, blankets, and heating means to the most vulnerable families. ⸻ 🎯 Project goal: to provide warmth to 10,000 affected families during the winter by delivering a comprehensive winter package that helps protect children and women from the risks of cold and illness. ⸻ 📦 Winter package contents: The Winter Clothing package consists of: • 🧣 Winter coats for all family members • 🧤 Gloves and scarves • 🧦 Wool socks • 🛌 A high-quality warm blanket • 🧥 Winter clothing for children • 🔥 A simple heater (if possible depending on availability of electricity and fuel) Depending on the family's condition, assistance may be adjusted to suit the most urgent needs.
