Project details
In Gaza, no one turns on the tap with confidence. If water is available, it is salty or contaminated, and when it is cut off — as happens often — families wait for a tanker, a bucket, or any means to quench their children’s thirst. The problem is not only the lack of water, but the difficulty of accessing clean and safe water. Poor families cannot afford to buy water, and affected areas do not receive supplies. Amid this harsh reality, the Water Provision initiative was launched to provide something simple… but necessary: clean water stored in a tank, distributed by tanker, or given in a cup, without charity… simply as a human right.
Why are we launching the Water Provision Project? Because thirst cannot wait. Because many families in Gaza begin their day searching for water, not for rest. Because a child should not fall ill from polluted water, and a mother should not have to choose between buying a loaf of bread or a gallon of water. The Water Provision Project is not a luxury, but a response to an urgent daily need. The project aims to secure the minimum dignity… a clean cup of water, in a safe place.
How we work:
• Distributing water tankers to the most in-need areas, especially camps and shelters.
• Installing water tanks for families that lack basic water storage capacity.
• Supporting small desalination units to provide drinking water in some neighborhoods and villages.
• Providing water coolers/dispensers in public places (schools, hospitals, mosques, residential gatherings).
The impact is greater than you imagine. A bottle of water may seem ordinary in your hand, but in Gaza it can mean:
• A child who does not suffer from dehydration.
• A patient whose pain is eased.
• A woman who does not have to carry water from long distances.
• A family that drinks with dignity, not as charity.
Help us deliver water… life. Every contribution quenches thirst and eases the hearts worn out by drought and oppression. The Water Provision Project is the simplest form of mercy… and the truest. Be a partner in this impact. Because a drop from you may mean a whole life for someone else.
