Project summary
On Eid morning, children await the joy of the eidiya before anything else, but the realities of life in the Gaza Strip deprive many of them of this simple smile. The Eidiya and Gifts Project restores the children’s sense of Eid and gives them a moment of joy they deserve. The project aims to provide symbolic eidiya and gifts to children from needy families, orphans, and members of struggling households, bringing happiness to their hearts and easing their families’ Eid burdens. The eidiya and gifts are distributed in an organized manner that preserves the children’s dignity and creates an atmosphere of joy and reassurance, so that this gesture becomes a reason for a sincere smile on Eid day.
