As part of its ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of our people in displacement areas, Ataya Charity Association implemented the Water Line Extension project in Palestine Camp – Mawasi, Khan Yunis, to secure access to clean water for displaced families who lack the most basic necessities of life.
In light of the siege, displacement and lack of services, a drop of water has become a symbol of steadfastness and hope, and the extension of a water line is an extension of life itself.
This act of charity was made possible by a generous donation from the brothers and sisters of the Fawaaron Mosque in the city of Grenoble, France, carrying the message: we continue to give because we believe that: "Wherever there is water, there is life", and because with water we sow hope and renew life, Ataya continues to fulfill its humanitarian duty, supporting the resilience of our people in the face of tragedy.
